Independence Day Festivities

Date posted: 6/12/2018

Block House MUD and the BHC Owners Association have combined forces to provide a fun and festive 4th of July event for all Block House residents!

To begin with, don't forget about Lining the Loop with American flags! Meet at the Walker House the evening of July 3rd at 7:00 PM. Flags will need to be picked up the evening of the fourth or the morning of July 5th. Contact Ursula Logan at or Pam Phillips at if you can help or have questions!

The big party, sponsored by the BHC Owners Association, happens Wednesday, July 4th at Tumlinson Park from noon until 3:00 PM, followed later by a District-sponsored fireworks display at approximately 9:30 PM!

Current plans include two bouncy houses, a water slide and water tag, video game truck, Kona Ice, EB Diner food truck (vegan option available), barrel train, petting zoo, photo booth, crafts, great music, and our neighborhood Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be selling hot dogs and watermelon!

The day is sure to be a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate the freedoms we all enjoy. Many thanks to all of the volunteers who have planned this event and help make Block House Creek such a great place to live!
