Terence Davis - President Terence Davis and his wife, Romelia, chose Block House for their home because of the family-friendly quality of life, and the convenient location. For the four years the family has lived in Block House, their daughters, Brianna and Elliana, have enjoyed the parks and pools. Terence spent his early years in Youngstown, Ohio but moved to Texas in time to attend Lanier High School in Austin. He earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University. Then he attended St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio and graduated with honors in 2000. The legal profession seems to run in the family as he now practices law in Cedar Park with his lawyer father and cousin. Terence joined the Block House Municipal Utility District in 2006. In addition to his service on the MUD, Terence has public service experience serving on the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Cedar Park Library Foundation Board. He also offers his services through the court Appointed Family Law Advocates program in Travis County. Terence’s motivation for running for the Block House MUD board was to be more involved in the business and issues of the neighborhood. “My goal is to offer consistent and valuable decisions that serve the overall interests of the public and to make sure that the process and reason for any decisions are made open to the public.” |

Cecilia Roberts - Vice President
A curiosity about the inner workings of a Municipal Utility District (MUD) in 1984 led to a lifetime volunteer commitment to the Block House MUD. Cecilia Roberts and her family had just moved to Block House Creek the year before and now Cecilia was asked to join the board. Since then she has had a passion to make sure that all residents experience a life of quality in Block House Creek. At the top of her priority list is the parks and greenbelts that lace the Block House community. Cecilia experiences a moment of pride when she sees residents playing in the pools and parks, and taking in the natural beauty that Block House offers. Cecilia agrees with other board members that enforcement of the restrictive covenants will ensure sustained property values as well as a happy experience living in the neighborhood. Cecilia counts herself as fortunate for the opportunity to live in Block House Creek and to serve on the MUD board with her neighbors and consultants. Cecilia is a Realtor by profession and also donates her time to other volunteer efforts in Cedar Park and Williamson County. |

Debra Junk - Secretary
When Debra Junk and her husband, Bob, moved to Block House Creek in 1982, they knew it would be an ideal place to raise their children. Now that they have three daughters, Debra is willing to volunteer her time on the Block House Municipal Utility District (MUD) to make sure that Block House continues to be a safe and enriching place for all residents and their children. Debra is particularly concerned with traffic issues as the area grows. Block House Creek is fortunate to have green spaces and a variety of recreational activities including swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, hiking trails and more available to the residents. It is Debra’s intention that these parks be maintained at high levels and that future developments are geared to meet the needs of Block House families. Debra wants to communicate with the citizens of Block House Creek and welcomes input from all neighbors. She also believes that residents have a responsibility to contribute to the quality of the neighborhood by adhering to the restrictive covenants that are set in place to protect property values and quality of life. In her professional life, Debra is a professor of education at UT. Her area of expertise is mathematics. |
