MUD Statement Reflects Adjusted Rates

The Base Rate for all single-family or duplex residential customers is $35, which does not include any water or wastewater usage, but does include a $2.00 user fee for the District's park and recreational amenities.

In order to encourage conservation, most water utilities use a stepped system to charge for actual volume of water used. The average consumption in Block House is 9,800 gallons per month. The water gallonage charges are as follows:

• 0-7,000 gallons $3.52/1,000 gallons
• 7,001-14,000 gallons $3.74/1,000 gallons
• 14,001 gallons and over $4.13/1,000 gallons

Tax Exemptions

Over 65: $15,000 Disabled: $15,000

Water Service Fees

• Security Deposit: $100
  Residential Owners may request $50.00 after one year of good payment history.
• Application Fee: $5
• Late Payment Penalty - A late payment charge of 10% of the amount of the bill will be added on the 11th of each month after the month inwhich the bill is rendered, for each month the delingquent bill remains unpaid.

Payments may be made with Visa or Mastercard
